My last experience after going to this location for 10 years was my last. First the service was atrocious. Then my meal ( a waffle) came to the table 20 minutes late and only after I pointed it out to the server. The rest of my party was finished with their meal by the time I got my waffle.

I would have liked to eat with my party, especially since they were guests from out of town. I informed the staff and the manager came to make it worse. She offered the excuse that the kitchen was busy, and I offered her that making waffles does not take extra time and that this is a cafe and their job is to get orders out correctly and with the rest of the meal. She offered me 10% off the waffle which was an insult.

She was rude and obviously has no idea how to handle running a cafe or dealing with people.

I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT LOCATION AND LIKLEY WON'T RETURN TO THE DOWNTOWN LOCATION EITHER SINCE THEY CONTINUE TO IGNORE REPEATED COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE MANAGER ON BOSQUE.

Somebody please open a good breakfast spot in Waco.

Cafe Homestead
This place will be a classic in Waco if it keeps serving great fresh food in a beautiful location. I felt like I was in Disney World or something because everything was so clean and well kept. The service is fantastic and the food was flavorful.

This is a place to take an out of towner for sure. Or your Mom when she comes in to visit. Or someone elses mom.

Greasy griddle in an old depression era lean-to building. How can this burger be anything else but fantastic. Slap that burger and flip it around, let me get a peak before it touches the....griddle.

You know what I'm saying. This is a burger joint at it's finest. Don't over think this just go there. Ask them to pepper the meet while cooking it and put mustard on the bun and then put it on the griddle.

Bangkok Royal
Consitantly fantastic. Confort food at its best. I'll make this simple. This is the bar for any other pacific restaurant in Waco to beat.

I recommend any of the noodle dishes,
Appetizer: toon tong
Soup: can't recall the name. The one aromatic with broth and shrimp, although the one with coconut milk kicks a little Bangkok too.
Main Dish: Any curry dish, any of the noodle dishes or pad tai extra spicy. The seafood always tastes fresh.

do it... do it.... do it....do it
