Thank you to everyone who nominated your favorite Waco restaurants for the 2014 WacoFork Bracket Challenge! We got a lot of great nominations from many of you, and we have successfully filled 25 spots in the 32-restaurant bracket. We still need your help, though. We have a 10-way tie for the final 7 spots, and we wanted to let you choose which restaurants belonged in the top 32. Please take a moment to choose 7 restaurants in our poll to help us determine which restaurants will make it into the 2014 WacoFork Bracket Challenge.
We want to have some fun in March, but we need your help.
We're hoping to crown the champion of Waco restaurants with a 32-restaurant bracket challenge. When the time comes, we need you to vote for your favorite restaurants in the bracket. But for now, we need restaurant nominations from you.
The moment is overwhelming. It's a good thing they give us chips and salsa to get us through.
At casual lunch with friends at places like El Crucero, El Charro or Mi Tequila, or on a night out at Ninfa's or La Fiesta, the panic rushes in as soon as the colorful menu demands a decision.

Last year we offered 12-straight days of Christmas Carol trivia. We want to keep that tradition going, though we're going to go with a less-is-more approach this holiday season. We'll be doing a few of these in the next couple of weeks, so keep your eyes and ears open and your Google fingers ready.

My friends Tye Barrett, Jacob Robinson and I grabbed some pizza from Nizza Pizza to ease the bumps and bruises of a football season in its late stages. We also debated about the fullness of the glass.
I know the weekend is almost upon us, but I'm already looking forward to Wednesday night at 7 p.m. when Becky Murphy will be in town to celebrate the publication of her book "I'd Rather be Short" with a signing party at The Dancing Bear Pub.
A lot of people who follow WacoFork are also friends with Becky and we've been planning to have a fantastic night celebrating her book for as long as we new there was going to be a book published by the fancy New York publisher Penguin/Plume.
My friends Tye Barrett, Jacob Robinson and I grabbed some pizza from Shorty's Pizza Shack and talked about Baylor's chance to get in the national championship game and this week's all-important matchup with the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
We're obviously talking about the big Thursday night Baylor vs. Oklahoma game in today's Pizza and a Football Argument. Because of camera and time constraints, it's a little blurry, but since we ain't pretty, that actually makes it better. We also substituted Crucero breakfast tacos for pizza this week. Watch it.
