Load up the tub
I could bathe in Ninfa's salsa. I'm not sure I'd be clean, but at least I'd taste good.

Worth a 7 hour trip
Ninfa's ALWAYS makes the stomach happy!!Last night was the first time I have been able to go in 3 months! I am from Waco, but I currently am a senior at the University of Arkansas. I am on fall break and Ninfa's was my first restaurant to go to because it's my favorite spot in Waco. The margaritas are always realllly good! The El Presidente is perfect for splitting, its a large entree. Any entree at Ninfa's is yummy, especially when paired with a margarita or two!

May be a chain, but it's a small one
Ninfa's is the place my sister always wants to come anytime she's in town. I have learned to appreciate this large, warehouse-like place since I've been frequenting it for the past 15 years. What can I say? They bring green & red salsa with the chips. Mix it together and it's a tasty hot and creamy bang in your mouth. Yum! The food's great but service can be slower during rush hour and on the weekends. Beware, it's a favorite place of bear fans, so it's really crazy Homecoming, Parent's Weekend, and home games. There could be wait. There are better local spots to go when wanting some mexican food, but it's not a bad place to try at least once.

Decent Tex-Mex
All right, it's a chain, but it's a smaller chain, so somehow I feel less dirty about eating here...and finding it "not bad." I'm an enchilada fan, and the crawfish and spinach enchiladas are my two favorite things here. Ninfaritas are yummy. The kinda warm (physically, not spicy-y) salsa and the different chips (I think they might be flour tortilla based or something?) that come with the queso are a little different than most Tex-Mex places, but still good. Never fear, they still bring out the normal corn tortilla chips with the salsa if you find the flaky ones a bit strange.

Overall, though, Ninfa's never really seems like a place I'd go out of my way to go to, even though it's not bad. Maybe it's the location. It's near Baylor, but it's always stuffed to capacity to the point where I'd almost rather go to a roach coach for my Mexican fix. Because it's usually busy, the service always just seems okay, like I feel for the waiters for having such a huge room to keep happy. It's loud, and the pretty high ceilings and exposed brick walls only exacerbate that. By the time I find a parking spot at prime Ninfa's time, I'm angry with the universe for not quickly pointing out a holy oasis for my car with curbs and grass on all sides that'd prevent it from getting nudged by other Baylor kids.

mmm...Ninfas
for faux-Mexican food, this place is delicious. not only is the food good, but so is the service; the wait staff and the kitchen are super speedy. don't expect authentic-type food, but it's so good! my favorite is the George, which consists of a flauta and an enchilada. i've never had anything i didn't like at ninfa's.

We love it!
The beef fajitas are the best in town! I also love the complementary salsas that come with your chips. I never leave Ninfa's without being totally stuffed full of great food!
