Just in time for the start of the Baylor spring semester on Monday, two new campus restaurants held a dress rehearsal on Friday.
Moe's and Which Wich, which officially open on Monday in the Baylor University Science Building, unlocked their doors for an "invitation only" lunch on Friday. The word on the street was that mostly Baylor Student Life folks were invited, but if a person showed up and acted like they were supposed to be there, then they could eat lunch at either Moe's or Which Wich. Or both, I guess.
So far this school year, Baylor students have benefited from the opening of Einstein Bros. and Mooyah in the Bill Daniels Student Life Building, a Starbucks in Moody Library and now the two new restaurants in the science building.
It's somewhat convenient for non-Baylor students to get their bagel or burger fix at the student life building as there is visitor parking nearby. As for the other three, they're way more accessible for Baylor students and the like.
I suppose a person who really craved a Which Wich sandwich could park at the Ferrell Center and make the 500-yard-or-so walk to the science building (there's really no non-Baylor parking in the area during a school day). If anyone is willing to go to such lengths for a sandwich, let me know at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. That's guest-blog worthy.
