The food is reasonably priced, and usually good. Pizza's especially. I used to love going for the alfredo sauce, but last time I went it wasn't on the menu. Now THAT was awesome! They "had" the best alfredo sauce I'd ever eaten. No more. Service is usually pretty bad, no refills on tea and drinks. And parking? Fugettaboutit! And no, you cannot park at the restaurant next door.

So disappointed, as well as confused. Do not understand why this place gets voted Waco's Best. Nothing special. They can't even make an enchilada that tastes better than a TV dinner. Perhaps all the voters are getting inebriated on the margaritas and therefore not even tasting how bad the food is? Or, perhaps more closer to the truth: People around here just accept mediocre. What a shame. If you keep settling for average we may never have a decent restaurant in this town.

I hadn't been here in over 5 years, but I remembered it being good. No longer. We had a retirement party here on 9/3/13, eight of us. Not one of us had anything that passed as decent food. Tamales tasted like dog food, the chicken in the enchiladas was canned, mushy and totally taste-less. Someone wanted nachos, but each topping added $$ to the cost? The total for what the lady would have wanted would have been far higher than an entree item. Guacamole was was just mushed avocados, no flavor at all. Wish I had brought my own guac, everyone raves and begs for it. But a Mexican restaurant can't even make decent guacamole? All 8 of us agreed, never again. I'll stick with a Patio TV dinner, it's MUCH better.

My husband and I enjoyed Chili's on a regular basis. A weeknight favorite was splitting their version of the Philly Cheese Steak. Half a sandwich and half an order of fries was plenty for each of us during the week.
They've recently revamped their menu, leaving hard-core standards alone. The ribs and burgers are still awesome and a safe bet.
However, the "new" Cheese Steak is made with some sort of Cheese Whiz type product. Not acceptable for real cheese lovers. Avoid this item and hopefully they will revert to the original sandwich that was pretty good.
The Herb & Garlic Salmon was a huge disappointment at $14. Over cooked and dry salmon with absolutely no garlic or herbs in site. The rice side dish was even more disappointing. Over cooked mushy rice with absolutely no flavor what-so-ever.
If we continue to visit Chili's we will definitely stick with the tried and true burgers and ribs and leave the experimenting with new flavors for other restaurants.
