Remember, Freebirds will invite the first 25 people in line into the restaurant for an opening party in which each inaugural customer will be rewarded with free Freebirds burritos for a year (limit one per week, I think).
For those planning to camp out in order to be one of the first 25 patrons, Freebirds has a few rules which we have obtained:
- You must not leave.
- Stay in numerical order.
- Patrons under 18 need approval from a guardian.
- No boozin'.
- Be respectful — the plants are not your bathroom.
- Tents, sleeping bags, etc., must be back in car by 8 a.m. on the 10th.
- Have fun.
One more bite: We're going to sponsor a person or group in line for the Freebirds party. We'll provide WacoFork T-shirts, food and comfortable chairs. A tent is even negotiable. The booty from the party is all yours. All we want in return is a little video work. We'll provide the camera.
