Gourmet Gallery rolling with cooking classes

If you've ever had sushi at a restaurant and thought to yourself "I bet I could do this at home," then you are more self-confident than me. And I have more good news for you, Gourmet Gallery is offering you the chance to learn how to make your own sushi.

This is a limited offer, so if this blog hits you where you're at, you're going to want to click on Gourmet Gallery to get their phone number and call to reserved one of the few remaining spots in the January 26 sushi class.

Sushi chef Reiko will be instructing the hands-on class from noon to 2 p.m. at a cost of $50 per student.

Just in case you can't roll into the sushi class, keep in mind that Gourmet Gallery offers a steady schedule of cooking classes. Including these:

  • January 24, chef Virginia Spencer will be teaching a class on meal management while preparing roasted chicken, braised beef, seasoned vegetables, homemade desserts and quick breads. This class is $45 per person.
  • January 31, chef Rachel Solano will get your ready for the big game with Super Bowl seafood chowder in an artisan bread bowl, tortellini soup and Texas chili. ($45 per person)
  • February 2, chef Kim Williams presents healthy Italian by cooking Tuscan soup, risotto with asparagus and mushrooms, chicken parmesan, Italian salad and a surprise dessert. ($50 per person)
