So I've been twice now, haven't had a problem with MY food, but my husband & a good friend of mine got really sick.

The first time I went I had the Grilled Steak sandwich. Sounded amazing with the horseradish sauce & carmelized onions, but eh, it was ok. I thought it was too small for the price & didnt really taste any horseradish or see any "carmelized onions". The one thing that I did enjoy was the Loaded Potato Soup...SUPER YUM!!!

The second time I had the Margherita Pizza & side caesar salad. The pizza was decent. The salad was fantastic, especially with the croutons that are on the middle bar along with the amazing bread & butter pickles. I could seriously just go in & buy a 5 gallon bucket of those! lol

My husband had the pimento sandwich the first time, & was very disappointed, it was basically a grilled cheese with 1 tomato on it.....NO PIMENTOS.
The second time he had the Vegetarian club sandwich & a cup of fruit, that is the meal that made him SUPER sick.

I would really like to go back cuz their food looks great(& for more pickles) but I'm honestly scared to!

Went to Shorty's for the first time the other day. I now have a new favorite pizza place. I was leery to try a somewhat new pizza place but I always try to opt for "local" over "chain" restaurants. We went about 5:30-6pm, walked right in, got an open table. Server was quick to come by & take the drinks, & was very friendly! He answered our questions promptly & without fail. It was a Tuesday, so their special was buy an 18" for a 14" price....Helluva deal!! I went with half pep/mushroom & half Hawaiian. Both were absolutely amazing. They used fresh mushrooms, & the pineapple was THE best quality pineapple I've ever had on a pizza! The crust was phenomenal....perfect blend of dough & crunch! The table of guys behind us left all of the ends of their crusts, I was like SERIOUSLY?!?! that part is AMAZING! How could they waste such an awesome pizza?! Anyways, IF you haven't tried it yet, I recommend going TONIGHT!! I could honestly eat this pizza everyday...I was actually craving it the next day! ;)

Tony Demaria's
Tony D's is a one of a kind BBQ joint! They've been in business since the 30's, that should tell you somethin'! My personal favorite is "The Order", meat & bread on paper with a bowl of their "gravy" and a slice of cheese....can't beat it!
