I recently noticed a taco truck on my morning commute to the office. It's called El Fogoncito and it's located in the parking lot of the Shell station at Franklin and New Road.
It was actually closed when I stopped by, so I proceeded up the road to Rosa's. So I can't tell you much about El Fogoncito. I highly suspect it's about the same as the other taco trucks.
The problem with our food truck scene is that they're almost all taco trucks and all located in the parking lots of gas stations. What we need — and I don't know if this is a function of zoning and other such Waco laws, you tell me — are food trucks in or near parks and areas where nightlife takes place. And something off the well-trodden path of tacos would be cool too.
