We told you last week about Cafe Homestead's special Valentine's dinner featuring French cuisine. Today we have to let you down easy — they're sold out and have already turned folks away. If you got in on that, then good for you.
But don't despair, there are plenty of good options out there. We've just got a couple so far, but we'll hopefully be adding more.
Sergio's will have its entire menu available, but will also be serving a three-course dinner for two for $35.99 ($19.99 if ordered individually). Main-course entree choices will be baked stuffed red snapper, baked dill lemon chicken or short ribs osso bucco.
Brazos Bar & Bistro at Hotel Indigo is serving a seven-course Valentine's dinner with seatings at 6:30 and 8:30. The main course entree options include cabrnet braised short rib or red snapper. Cost is $50 per person. As of Tuesday afternoon, there were two spots available for the 6:30 seating and several tables still open for the 8:30 seating.
1424 is presenting a special Valentine's menu for $60 per person. The five-course dinner includes a bloody mary shrimp cocktail with crab cake balls, cream of potato soup, mixed green salad with walnuts tossed in citrus vinaigrette and 8-ounce prime black angus beef loin with white wine mushroom sauce served with basmati rice pilaf and brocolini. Then for dessert a puff pastry roll stuffed with pistachios and a pinch of cinnamon topped with strawberry coulees and chantilly cream. Click here for more information and to make reservations.
Yazzi's is offering buy one, get one free yogurt and/or buy one sandwich meal get a second meal for half price.
On Monday, Diamondbacks posted on its Facebook page that it had reservations after 9 still available and was encouraging walk-ups. Not sure I get how they're booked for reservations before 9, but they're going to accommodate walk ups. If you decide to give it a try, let us know how it went.
