Here's a good way to treat yourself to a steak lunch, completely guilt free.
The Central Texas Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs is hosting an Administrative Professionals Day Luncheon on Wednesday at Outback Steakhouse. The $25 ticket for the event will raise money for the CTCPA scholarship fund, which awards $1,000 scholarships to deserving accounting students.
Attendees will be able to choose from steak, chicken or fish entrees and the $25 ticket cost covers cheesecake for dessert, tax and gratuity. There will also be gift card drawings for the administrative professionals in attendance, and raffle tickets — 1 for $5; 3 for $10 — for a chance to win an iPad or iPad Mini.
The lunch will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and it's a come and go event, so attendees can hit it up on their lunch hour.
