Called 30 minutes in advance for table, since they don't offer reservations and this is the farthest out they would place our name on the list.

Arrive 10 minutes early to double-check that reservation was put in - and wouldn't you know, they had all the details, but their placement system is meaningless. You are put on the list upon arrival, and calling ahead netted me ZERO advantage or consideration.

Time quoted to me (70-80 minutes wait) was the exact same as the party they quoted coming in the door behind me.

In the end, frantic calls to the rest of the family, and on the hunt for another restaurant on a holiday, at the last minute, with two young ones in tow.

We called ahead because it was my first Fathers Day, and I didn't want our kids waiting more than an hour for a table. The unapologetic manager and hostess made sure I'll never be coming back.
