Congratulations to Dan Ingham for winning the WacoFork Bracket Challenge. We've done this for two years now and Ingham has claimed first prize both times, so it's fair to say he's dominating it.
Most of you probably already know this, but before Ingham held down an anchor seat on KWTX This Morning, he was the station's sports director. That kind of makes our contest legit (despite the fact that another sports media member in the contest finished almost dead last and, since he offered anyone who beat him a free cup of coffee, now has a lot of coffee to buy).
Ingham picked Louisville to win the championship and edged Kelly Baker in second place by a single point. Just to show how tough of a pick March Madness proved to be this year, no one in our pool picked more than one Final Four team correctly. Actually, maybe that proves we were bad pickers.
But don't let that detract from Ingham's dominance. And his good picks just keep on coming as he selected Kitok's for his $25 winner's gift certificate.
Thanks for playing and, mark my words, I will not be beaten in 2014.
