It's been a while since I went poking around for details on the new Firehouse Subs location so I was a bit surprised to find the building where it will open being outfitted for business.
It's essentially next door to Buffalo Wild Wings and it appears to be taking shape nicely inside the to-be restaurant.
If you clicked on the "read more" button hoping I would saving the big opening-date reveal for this page, well, sorry. That's really all I have on this one for now. But since you did click on it, I'll pass along a couple of tidbits gleaned from the Waco Tribune-Herald:
- Chick-Fil-A on Franklin is going to be closed for four weeks. Hello, mall Chick-Fil-A.
- The new Chick-Fil-A at the Baylor-adjacent calorie gallery is set to open Oct. 16.
And one more thing we have from the WacoFork wire that we're looking into: We hear 1424 is opening a quick-serve branch on Franklin. More details to follow.
