Cafe Homestead will be hosting a special holiday evening on Thursday as the restaurant is partnering with The Ploughshare Institute for Sustainable Culture.
The event, A Holiday Evening at Homestead, will offer dining, shopping, live music and horse-drawn surrey rides from 6-9 p.m.
Cafe Homestead will be offering a limited menu as follows:
- Entrees: Grilled ribeye served with garlic mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, garden salad and a harvest dinner roll with cinnamon butter OR sorghum glazed chicken on a bed of jalapeño cheddar cheese grits served with a cucumber tomato salad, bacon-wrapped asparagus and a harvest dinner roll with cinnamon butter.
- Salad: festive spinach salad.
- Soups: chicken velvet OR mushroom barley OR jalapeño sweet potato.
