The fact that Freebirds now has four walls here in Waco makes me ever more excited and curious when it will be open.
I'm certain I'm not the only one.
Well, it never hurts to ask. So that what I did and received word just this afternoon that Freebirds is on target to open September 17.
That's a Monday following Baylor's home football game against Sam Houston State. One of the most exciting stories we will follow in the next couple of months will be the anticipation and presumed camping out days in advance of Freebirds' opening day. The timing, as it's targeted right now, seems ideal and interesting.
