We'd like to say a public thank you to Mama Fu's for having Cory and me over for lunch on Monday.
They wanted to showcase their menu and we definitely tried a decent variety. Sort of. I dine at Mama Fu's semi-frequently because I'm a bit of a fried-rice junkie, so I had fried rice. But I also ordered calamari. I actually don't remember what Cory ordered as I was hungry and basically scarfed my fried rice.
Anyway, it was a good test run for an offer Mama Fu's is extending for the Lunar New Year next week.
Mama Fu's is celebrating by offering $10 off dine-in or online orders of $20 or more at lunch or dinner. Cory and eat had an entree and a starter (crab rangoons, I think) and our combined total was $29. Take the discount and we spent $9.50 apiece. And remember, we indulged a bit. This is going to be the smart money's lunch next week.
Additionally, if you're a member of Mama Fu's customer loyalty program, Funatics Club, or if you sign up by closing time on Feb. 18, you will receive a surprise exclusive gift on Lunar New Year's Day, Feb. 19.
It's an excellent way to take the whole family to Mama Fu's for a little cheaper than normal. In that case it's pretty much a kids-eat-free deal.
