Here's the sixth installment of Tuesday Trivia, which we'll be running all summer.
We're tying trivia to new music, movie and TV DVD releases (though admittedly we've been music-intensive so far), since that happens on Tuesdays, so you'll have some framework for my question's origin. But I'm not going to frame the question so that you'll just be able to look up new releases and find the answer. I can hopefully make it a bit trickier than that.
The first person to email me the correct answer at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. wins today's prize, which is a $30 gift certificate to George's in Hewitt. Here's the question:
Composer Hans Zimmer did the new Man of Steel soundtrack. We kind of wish the soundtrack included pop songs featuring Superman because it could have included the lines 1) "When I go crazy will you still call me Superman?" 2) "I am Superman and I know what's happening." 3) "I can't be your Superman." and 4) "I watch Superman fly away."
Give us the four artists and songs.
Answer: 1) Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down, 2) Superman by REM (we were looking for REM though it was pointed out that The Clique was the original performer of this song and the REM version was a cover) 3) Superman by Eminem and 4) Superman by Taylor Swift.
