Every now and then, the One More Bite Blog will arbitrarily decide it's "(fill in the blank) Week."
We've had weeks featuring barbecue, Mexican food, Asian food, etc. You get the idea. This week, we've decided to feature the greatness of the taco. It's "Taco Week" people. Get on board.
To kick it off, we're sending a shout out to our favorite taco offer in town, the one you can find on Fork Deals, the $3.99 crispy taco special at El Crucero (before anyone raises a fuss, I just checked and the offer is still good even though the coupon states it expires March 1. We'll get that updated).
I enjoyed the warm-ish weather and a plate of tacos with my friend Giles Rudolph today at El Crucero. One of the staples of my week is that Rudolph stops by to check on my yard every Monday. Since spring hasn't sprung enough to turn my grass green yet, I didn't have much for Rudolph to do today (he's long since raked dozens of bags of leaves up off my property). So we hopped in the car and went for tacos.
Rudolph had beef fajita tacos, while I stuck to the traditional crispy variety with ground beef.
That's the beauty of tacos: they come in so many varieties. That's what I want to explore this week. I need your help, though. What tacos must be included in Taco Week?
