Yesterday I asked myself the question "am I as fat as that guy?"
The gentleman, whom I don't know, had a rather protruding belly, but my gut tends to lead the way as well, unfortunately. It's a difficult question to answer, and I realize that even asking it isn't all that healthy. The guy was also wearing flip flops in a professional environment, so I gave myself a mark in the plus column for not matching him in that way.
Alas, those who order fried eggs on top of their sandwiches at lunch shouldn't throw stones.
You know what, though? Sometimes you have to see what a Banh Mi with pork from Clay Pot would taste like with a fried egg on it. If you don't do that every now and then, then what's the point?
For the record, I've had a kale salad for lunch in the last 40 days. And, yes, I chased it with fajitas.
I've mentioned a couple of times during the last two weeks, since my friend Brian Patterson revealed this to me, that Clay Pot will put a fried egg on anything. So far, I've tried chicken fried rice with a fried egg and yesterday's Banh Mi with a fried egg. Fried dumplings with a fried egg is in the on-deck circle.
Let me tell you, friend, you want to take a bite that includes pork, fried egg, cucumber and Sriracha.
Also, I still don't think I was as fat as that guy.
