I will always love Spring Break.
Never mind that I'm out of school and have been for more than a decade. The way I look at it, if there's a holiday celebrated by everyone who's school age AND everyone who has school age kids, then that's a holiday for everyone. Of course, there's also the close connection with March Madness on the calendar AND we almost invariably have beautiful weather this time of year.
So I'm not passing on these things just because I wrapped up my academic career a while back.
Thus the slight slow down of content on the One More Bite blog this week. I have feelers out for restaurant news, but until I get some emails back, I'm not gonna sweat it. I'm gonna alternate between outdoor activities and watching college basketball.
But this morning I was thinking "I need to do a blog" and "It's still spring break" and "I would like some breakfast." Boom. Spring Break-fast. There are obviously a bunch of choices where I could've made this happen. I chose El Crucero because 1) it's delicious and 2) I could sit on the porch and enjoy the cool, crisp morning.
That's all I got, suckas.
One more bite: Wait, I do have something else. The new Peter Piper Pizza on New Road is open. If anyone has taken their kids there during Spring Break and likes to write in your free time, then let's hook up a guest blog.
