Just in time for a new football season, we have a new way to think about your Saturday and Sunday game watching.
Clay Pot has adjusted its opening schedule (they're now open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays), rearranged the dining area, installed big screen TVs in the corners of the room and added beer and wine to the menu. It's not s sports bar, necessarily, but it's just as good if you want beer and football on Saturday or Sunday afternoon or evening. Better if you want a significant upgrade from general bar fare.
In case you're a purist who prefers wings with you beer and football, well, they have excellent wings too.
To celebrate the new football-watching-friendly atmosphere, Clay Pot is having radio station Power 108 for lunch on Saturday. Power 108 will be broadcasting from Clay Pot from noon to 1 on the this the first Saturday of the college football season.
One more bite: Let's say you're a Baylor student or a Baylor alum and you will be hanging out around campus on Saturday, just chilling out before the Bears open the season on Sunday. Then you might want to make it to the new El Crucero truck at Common Grounds for breakfast and then grab lunch and watch some football and maybe even win some radio-station prizes at Clay Pot at lunchtime. Just trying to help make your Saturday all that it can be.
