Fried-day: crazy wings any way you like 'em

My buddy Seth Horton is nearing the end of his time in Waco. He and his wife Margy have been great fans and encouragers of our WacoFork adventure. But we're losing them to the state of North Carolina. These things happen.

Before they leave, we needed to make sure Seth filled a hole in his Waco experience. As of Friday morning he had never dined at George's, Vitek's or Tony DeMaria's. So we had Fried-day lunch at George's in Hewitt and checked that one off the list.

And in doing so, we ordered two different forms of crazy wings — Bear Bites, which are crazy wings halved and tucked into rolls with, in our case, chipotle dressing; and I chose a crazy wing salad. I'm sure most of you realize you can get crazy wings in their original form, crazy wing tacos, crazy wing pizza ... come to think of it, you could probably pick any item on the menu and they would find a way to incorporate crazy wings.

Alas, Seth had to return to work this afternoon, so we didn't do George's 100 percent properly as we didn't have Big O's of beer. I guess that's a reason for Seth and Margy to come back to town for a visit.
