The Olive Branch Express is quickly becoming my go-to place for lunch. They offer up ready-made wraps, salads, and sandwiches for you to grab and go (or grab and stay.)
Working nearby at Plum Boutique, I couldn’t wait for The OB Express grand opening. I knew owner, Leah Stewart, would have delicious and creative menu items. I quickly found out the best part of The OB Express is the $5 Daily Special.
One Tuesday, I tried the Green Chile Casserole, and was amazed at the amount of food! I got a generous serving of casserole, chips & queso, a side of southwest salad (my personal fave from the original OB), AND a cookie! For only $5, I got a wholesome meal that kept me well satisfied until dinnertime.
A couple of my other favorites are the Southwest Cobb Salad, the Chicken Salad Sandwich, and the King Ranch Chicken. Be sure to get there early on King Ranch Chicken day. This special goes fast!
The Olive Branch Express is fantastic for Spice Village shoppers and downtown Wacoans on-the-go. The high-quality ingredients, convenient location, and short lines make this a great choice for lunch any day of the work week.
