Another crazy Fried-day at George's

Since we decided last week that Friday would henceforth be Fried-day, we couldn't go too many weeks without featuring one of Waco's favorite fried treats, the George's crazy wing.

A crazy wing — a boneless chicken wing stuffed with jack cheese and jalapenos, wrapped in bacon and, here's the kicker, deep fried — is fantastic on its own. But is there anyway to improve upon it?

Well, you could put the whole thing inside a homemade roll, thus making it a bite-sized sandwich.

That's a bear bite, folks.

Just to give myself some Fried-day options, I also ordered a Paula's fried chicken sandwich with mild buffalo sauce, which actually tasted more like a great big honey-butter chicken biscuit from Whataburger.

Ultimately the bear bites were more photogenic and more blog worthy for the purposes of this quick-hit blog.

That's your Fried-day finished. Have a nice weekend.
