Heads up, friends, tomorrow is kind of like Christmas and the moon landing all on one day.
Tomorrow, for the first time ever, you’ll be able to look an out-of-towner in the eyes and say, “Yeah, we have three Chick-fil-As — the one in the mall and two freestanding stores.” And then you just sit back and watch their amazed expression.
Yes, WacoFork friends, we have arrived. Not because we have a Freebirds and a Chipotle and a Torchy’s. But because we have three Chick-fil-As. Is that the correct plural of Chick-fil-A? Should it be Chick-fil-I?
At any rate, the new Chick-fil-A will be just across I-35 from Baylor (just in case you’ve been living under a rock).
Before anyone comments that there are actually four Chick-fil-I because there's one in the Baylor SUB, well, we're not counting that one. When I was in high school, they sold Chick-fil-A sandwiches in the cafeteria and we're not counting that one either.
One more bite: This is such massive opening news, that we don't want to overwhelm you with opening date info for Firehouse, Kim's and Bronc's. Also, we don't have that info yet.
